Fargo Records

Fargo Records is an independent record label based in Paris, France, founded by Michel Pampelune and operating throughout Europe since 2000. The label has worked with artists including Ryan Adams, Alamo Race Track, Alina Orlova, Bosque Brown, Richard Buckner, Chris Garneau, Clare And The Reasons, Deer Tick, Dolorean, Jesse Sykes & The Sweet Hereafter, Joseph Arthur, Neal Casal, Nicolai Dunger, The BellRays, The Lords Of Altamont, The Morlocks, J Tillman, Luke Temple, Alela Diane, Andrew Bird, Emily Loizeau, Great Lake Swimmers, Shearwater, and Alexandre Varlet. In March 2010 the label opened its own record store in the 11th district of Paris on rue de la Folie Méricourt, featuring vinyl, screen prints, CDs, rock merch, and in-store performances. Fargo releases are promoted and distributed by partner companies across Europe and the USA. Since February the label has hosted monthly events at Paris club La Flêche d'Or, co-producing and promoting artists not necessarily signed to the label.
