Farmácias de Serviço

Farmácias de Serviço.net is a Portuguese digital project launched in March 2006 by 1000 Empresas, Lda. It provides information about duty pharmacies in Portugal, organized by district, and has expanded through a widget for third-party websites and mobile applications for iOS and Android.

Farmácias de Serviço.net was launched in March 2006 as a project of 1000 Empresas, Lda. At that time, digital information about pharmacies in Portugal was described as practically non-existent and not very credible. After launch, demand and feedback from users and pharmacies was surprising. In 2007, the project created a widget to share this information with entities that wanted to disseminate it. The first version of the Android application appeared in 2012, and the offering was soon extended to iOS and Windows Phone. The project states that it continues to innovate by introducing new features.
