Finnish Diabetes Association

The Finnish Diabetes Association (Diabetesliitto) is a Finnish patient and public health organization. Its stated goal is to ensure the best possible care and good everyday life for people with diabetes and their loved ones, and it operates locally, regionally and nationally to defeat diabetes. It provides information about diabetes and self-care pathways, offers courses and training for people with diabetes, for diabetes prevention and for professionals, and runs a type 2 diabetes and related disease risk test. It also publishes the Diabetes magazine and runs fundraising and events.
