Overview
Finservis (Bank Finservis) is a Russian universal commercial bank that performs all types of banking operations: lending and servicing of private and corporate clients, investment banking, trade and project financing, and asset management. It was founded in 2001 as OOO KB Kompleks and renamed Bank Finservis in May 2006. The bank is headquartered in Moscow and operates through a network of branches and credit-cash offices across Russia, with a strategic focus on developing foreign economic relations and business ties with partners in CIS countries. From 2006, the bank's priority was consumer lending through offices located in large stores, particularly the Sedmoy Kontinent supermarket chain. By early 2007, the bank's network included 85 mini-offices in Sedmoy Kontinent supermarkets. Between September 2006 and February 2007, it issued 130,000 co-branded credit cards in Moscow, offering discounts on purchases at Sedmoy Kontinent. In 2007, Bank Finservis ranked 39th by volume of consumer loans in the RBC rating. In late July 2010, Sedmoy Kontinent consolidated 100% of the bank's shares, with the deal valued at 500 million rubles. From 2011, the bank began winding down its retail business, closing offices in Sedmoy Kontinent stores across several Russian regions; its Moscow mini-offices were leased by Sovcombank in 2012. In March 2013, Sedmoy Kontinent sold the bank to a group of shareholders, who began developing it as a universal credit institution. As of July 2013, after closing offices in 2011–2013, the bank had 2 divisions in Ryazan and Moscow. Self-service banking terminals were located in Moscow Oblast, Kaliningrad, and Yaroslavl. The bank's activities generated a profit of 37.28 million rubles. In September–December 2013, the bank opened credit-cash offices in Saint Petersburg, Surgut, and Salavat, and an operational office in Novomichurinsk. In 2014, it opened offices in Arkhangelsk and Orenburg, credit-cash offices in Novodvinsk and Barnaul, and an additional office in Ruza. In 2015, credit-cash offices were opened in Troitsk and Engels, and a new operating cash desk outside the cash center was opened in Ruza. The bank's assets increased by 85.7% from early 2014 to February 2015, reaching 56.8 billion rubles by early March, with capital of 5.4 billion rubles. In April 2015, Bank Finservis signed a large-scale cooperation agreement with the Interregional Partnership of Realtors (MPR) in several Russian regions. Also in 2015, it signed a cooperation agreement with the subsidiary of RusHydro's energy sales company, PAO Ryazan Energy Sales Company (PAO RESK). One of the strategic directions of the bank's internal policy is the development of foreign economic relations and strengthening business ties with partners from CIS countries.
