Fjord Tours is a Norwegian tour operator based in Bergen, at the gateway to the fjords. The company is the creator of Norway in a Nutshell® and has been helping travelers explore Norway since 1982. It assembles self-guided tours, activities, and accommodation across the country, planned by a local team. Its product range includes the classic Norway in a Nutshell® journey, Sognefjord in a Nutshell™, Geirangerfjord in a Nutshell™, Geirangerfjord and Norway in a Nutshell®, Preikestolen & Norway in a Nutshell®, and Cities and Coastal Cruise. The company states it is Eco-Lighthouse certified, was named Norway's Leading Tour Operator 2025, and is a member of RGF / Travel Guarantee Fund.

Fjord Tours started in Bergen in 1982 to make vacationing in Norway easier. Its first product, named Fjord Pass, was a printed discount book that gave travelers reduced rates across a network of hotels, cabins, and motels around the country; it cost 50 kroner, covered a whole family, and grew over the years to include car rental and activities. In 2001, Fjord Tours took over the packaged round trips that had been run by the railway, including Norway in a Nutshell®, and set out to build them into well-run travel products. It started with a handful of people in an office at Bergen railway station, booking every trip by hand. Over the next two decades, the company grew the range of tours, built its own booking technology, and connected directly into Norway's rail and transport network so travelers can plan their whole trip in one place. Today it remains a team based in central Bergen.
