Overview
Flightcore Studios is a recording studio complex in Warsaw, Poland, founded in 2017 by two music enthusiasts known as Gerard and Dister. The business began as F-Light Studio, a basement space in the Bemowo district of Warsaw, and grew into a professional multi-room recording facility now located on Mickiewicza Street in the Żoliborz district. The studio is known for its role in the development of Warsaw's trap and rap scene, having hosted artists such as Malik Montana, Kaz Bałagane, Smolasty, OLEK, DMN, Frosti, Berson, Młody Dron, Uki Grajda, 2020 (SOSO), Tommy Lolo, Alcomindz and White Widow in its early years. The current facility comprises three studio rooms plus a Master Room. Studio 1 is a 40 m² open space designed for large sessions with multiple artists, featuring a spacious control room, a collection of analog equipment, near-field and mid-field monitors, and a live-sounding vocal booth finished in an elegant theatrical style. Studio 2 is decorated in cool, fresh colors and was designed with the studio's previous location in mind, where a trap aesthetic dominated; it includes a control room with mid-field monitors and a carefully damped recording booth. Studio 3 is undergoing revitalization and is planned as a multifunctional space for photo sessions, concert rehearsals and film post-production, to be finished in an Asian, cozy style with abundant greenery and a Japanese garden mural. Flightcore Studios positions itself as a full-service creative partner, supporting artists through the entire production process from start to finish. Its website emphasizes a unique atmosphere, qualified staff and a world-class audio signal chain. The studio also offers a booking voucher and is based at ul. Mickiewicza 9 in Warsaw. The company remains privately held and active, with no public listing or disclosed parent company.
History
Flightcore Studios traces its origins to the summer of 2017, when two young music enthusiasts, Gerard and Dister, met in a basement in Warsaw's Bemowo district that local teenagers rented for birthday parties. After a short conversation, they decided to found F-Light Studio together. The name was inspired by their own journey, the relaxed atmosphere, and the fact that no daylight reached the studio. The two friends had complementary skills: one was a sensible analyst with rare technical abilities who rented the space, while the other was a born artist building a stage career who soon brought in the first clients. F-Light was described as a temple of artistic freedom for everyone who came there. From the beginning, Jendri, also known as IDEA, a trap artist who remains part of the crew today, visited the basement daily along with the local crew. Within the first ten months of operation, the Bemowo basement hosted icons of Warsaw's rapidly developing trap scene, including Malik Montana, Kaz Bałagane, Smolasty, OLEK, DMN, Frosti, Berson, Wiktor z WWA, Młody Dron, Uki Grajda, 2020 (SOSO), Tommy Lolo, as well as Alcomindz, White Widow and many others. For most of them it was a time of carefree musical experimentation, and although F-Light had amateur conditions, everyone remembered Bemowo as a place with character. In June 2018, residents of nearby apartment blocks had had enough of the noise from the party-studio house, prompting a move. The studio relocated to central Warsaw, where it operated from 2018 to 2021. During this period the business continued to develop and professionalize, building on the reputation it had established in Bemowo. The current facility is located on Mickiewicza Street in the Żoliborz district of Warsaw and comprises three studio rooms plus a Master Room. Studio 1 is a comfortable, open 40 m² space for large sessions with multiple artists, featuring a spacious control room, a collection of analog equipment, near-field and mid-field monitors, and a cozy live-sounding booth finished in an elegant theatrical style. Studio 2 is finished in cool, fresh colors and was designed with the previous location in mind, where a trap style dominated with many colorful lights and modern decor; it contains a control room with mid-field monitors and a carefully damped recording booth. Studio 3 is currently undergoing revitalization and is envisioned as a multifunctional studio ideal for photo sessions, concert rehearsals and film post-production, to be completed in an Asian, cozy style synonymous with harmony and peace, filled with greenery and a mural depicting a Japanese garden. The Master Room completes the complex. The studio presents itself as a team of three recording studios in Żoliborz that started with only dreams and now helps others fulfill theirs. It highlights a unique atmosphere, qualified staff and a world-class audio chain, noting that thousands of artists have already experienced it. Flightcore Studios offers support throughout the creative process from A to Z and provides a booking voucher. The company remains privately held and active.
