Flora Cinema

Flora Cinema is a cinema located in Helston, Cornwall, England, and operates as one of the venues within the Merlin Cinemas circuit. Merlin Cinemas is a regional UK exhibitor whose portfolio spans Cornwall, Devon, Gloucestershire, Norfolk, North Yorkshire, Somerset, Scotland and Wales, with Flora Cinema listed among its Cornwall venues alongside the Capitol Cinema in Bodmin, Phoenix Cinema in Falmouth, Regal Cinema & Theatre in Redruth, Royal Cinema in St. Ives, Savoy Cinema in Penzance and The Ritz in Penzance. The circuit also operates the Regal Theatre in Redruth as a live-performance and event-cinema venue. As part of Merlin Cinemas, Flora Cinema presents a programme typical of a local community cinema: mainstream and family film releases, event cinema such as live stage broadcasts, and additional services promoted across the group including a Movie Magic Discount Card, gift cards, children's parties, private hire, autism-friendly screenings and flexible booking. The group also promotes food and drink offerings and a Hollywood Pizza Restaurant at selected sites. The cinema's identity is closely tied to its Cornish location and to the wider Merlin Cinemas brand, which positions itself as a collection of local theatres rather than a single large multiplex chain. Public information about the Flora Cinema specifically is limited to its listing as a Helston cinema within the Merlin Cinemas estate; detailed data such as its opening year, auditorium count, ownership history and exact address are not provided in the available evidence.
