Foodcoop BCN

Foodcoop BCN is a cooperative, participatory and non-profit supermarket in Barcelona, described on its website as the first of its kind in the city, driven by local residents who created it as an alternative. Members own the cooperative and make decisions about management and purchasing criteria. The store is open to the public at public prices, while members pay a 12% discount across the supermarket, gain access to the online shop, have a voice and vote on the project, and participate for 2 to 2.5 hours per month. Online orders are delivered by bicycle in Barcelona city (except Vallvidrera) in partnership with the cooperative Mensakas.
