FUJIKOKI CORPORATION

FUJIKOKI CORPORATION (株式会社不二工機) is a Japanese company founded in November 1949 in Tokyo. Its business consists of the manufacture and sale of automatic control equipment for refrigeration, air conditioning and car air conditioning. The company was started by Masakazu Yokoyama, who focused on the future potential of automatic control equipment for refrigeration and air conditioning. Its products are built into systems as core components across vehicle electrification-driven car air conditioning, commercial and residential air conditioning, electric water heating, floor heating, and refrigeration/freezing applications such as showcases and semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

In October 1948, Masakazu Yokoyama started Fuji Reiki Seisakusho as a sole proprietorship. In November 1949, Fujikoki Seisakusho Co., Ltd. was founded in Meguro-ku, Tokyo. The company began producing expansion valves in 1950 and launched the FE-type temperature expansion valve for commercial refrigeration and the EP-type pressure switch. In 1957 it released the D-type temperature expansion valve, the first car cooler temperature expansion valve, and established the former Tamagawa Plant. In 1964 it released the FV-type temperature expansion valve for commercial air conditioners. In 1981 it established Pace Product Co., Ltd. (now Fujikoki America Inc.) in the United States. In 1983 it introduced the world's first PAD-type AC drain pump for room air conditioners, and in 1984 the world's first EAM-type electronic linear control valve for inverter air conditioners. In 1987 it established Taiwan Fujikoki Co., Ltd. and released the KAM-type electronic linear control valve. In 1995 the company changed its trade name to Fujikoki Corporation. In 2001 it established Fujikoki Czech s.r.o. and Suzhou Fujikoki Co., Ltd. in China. In 2003 it established Suzhou Dahua Refrigeration Co., Ltd. in China and FUJIKOKI THAILAND CO., LTD. In 2012 it established Fujikoki De Mexico S.A. de C.V. and released the AAG-type pressure sensor.
