Fundació Alícia

Fundació Alícia is a private non-profit foundation created in 2003 that forms part of the group of entities of Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera. It describes itself as the first gastronomic R+D centre with scientific rigour and social commitment, a reference in culinary innovation for health and territory. Its work areas include health (culinary medicine and good eating habits) and territory (food heritage and sustainability). Its board of trustees is made up of Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera, the Generalitat de Catalunya and persons of recognised prestige. Scientists from different food-related disciplines work at Fundació Alícia together with cooks and gastronomes.
