Furniture of the Chernozem region

Furniture of the Chernozem region (Russian: Мебель Черноземья; the site also brands itself as "МЧ") is a Russian furniture retail business whose name refers to the Chernozem — the fertile "black earth" belt of central and southern Russia. It is classified in public data as a furniture shop, and it sells home and household furniture to consumers in its home region and beyond through its website, mche.ru. The company's public-facing presence is built around a direct-to-consumer retail model: an online catalogue and ordering channel at mche.ru, supported by a telephone hotline (8 800 775 25 07) that the company presents as the main contact point for all enquiries. This combination of an e-commerce storefront and a toll-free service line is typical of regional Russian furniture retailers, which often combine showroom networks with online sales and delivery across a wide catchment area. As a furniture retailer, its merchandise centres on household furniture — upholstered sofas and sectionals, beds and mattresses, wardrobes and storage, dining sets, and related home furnishings — the standard assortment of a full-line furniture shop. The brand's identity is tied to the Chernozem region, positioning it as a local specialist rather than a national luxury or contract-furniture house. Ownership, founding date, and corporate structure are not established by the available evidence. The brand is active, with a functioning official website and hotline, and it should be treated as a regional consumer-furniture retailer in Russia. Further details such as store count, manufacturing operations, or parent-company relationships would require additional sourcing.

Furniture of the Chernozem region (Russian: Мебель Черноземья) is a Russian furniture retail brand named after the Chernozem — the fertile black-earth belt that runs through central and southern Russia, including regions such as Voronezh, Lipetsk, Tambov, Kursk, and Belgorod. The name signals a regional identity: the business presents itself as a furniture seller rooted in and serving that part of the country. Public data describes the entity simply as a "furniture shop," and its official website operates under the domain mche.ru, where the brand also appears as "МЧ." The company's principal public contact channel is a toll-free hotline, 8 800 775 25 07, which its homepage presents as the number to call for all enquiries. This suggests a retail operation that combines an online catalogue with telephone-based customer service and order support — a common model for regional furniture retailers in Russia, where delivery distances are long and customers often prefer to confirm details by phone. As a furniture shop, the business belongs to the consumer-durables segment of the retail market. Its assortment, based on the standard profile of such retailers, centres on household furniture: upholstered sofas and sectionals, beds and mattresses, wardrobes and storage units, dining furniture, and related home furnishings. The brand's regional framing positions it as a local specialist rather than a national luxury or contract-furniture manufacturer. The available evidence does not establish the company's founding year, founders, ownership structure, headquarters city, store network, or manufacturing operations. What can be confirmed is that the brand is active, maintains an official website at mche.ru, and markets itself to consumers in the Chernozem region and beyond. A fuller corporate history would require additional sources such as company registries, regional business press, or the retailer's own corporate pages.
