Fxiaoke was founded in 2011 and is operated by Beijing Yidong Fxiaoke Technology Co., Ltd., headquartered in Zhongguancun, Beijing. After Losing to DingTalk, Lays Off Over 1,000 at Once
In July 2016, Fxiaoke lost out to Alibaba's DingTalk in competition over free office software and laid off more than 1,000 people (including more than 800 sales staff and nearly 200 R&D staff), reducing its workforce by about half. Founder Luo Xu said it experienced a "cardiac arrest" moment. The business pivoted to CRM.
