Overview

Gözen Holding is a Turkish aviation group whose roots trace back to a small supervisory team at Istanbul (Yeşilköy) Atatürk Airport almost 45 years ago. Since 1979, its founding business, Gözen Air Services, has grown into what the company describes as Turkey's most extensive representation, supervision and management network. Over the decades the group has expanded from airline representation and supervision into a diversified portfolio of aviation-related companies, bringing its subsidiaries together under the Gözen Holding roof. The group operates across several areas of the aviation industry, including airline operations, representation and supervision, fueling, auditing, brokerage, security, training and technology. Its subsidiaries include Gözen Air Services, Freebird Airlines, Gözen Security Services, Free Bird Travel, IFTC International Flight Training Center, Flydog K9 Services, Gözen GSA, Freebird Airlines Europe and Gözen Digital Aviation. According to the company, the group employs more than 3,500 people. Freebird Airlines, a leisure airline with dual registration in Malta and Türkiye, is a prominent member of the group. It was established in 2000 on a strong foundation and operates a fleet of 15 Airbus A320 aircraft. Gözen Security was founded in 1996 to address specific aviation security needs and was restructured as a private security company in 2005. Flydog K9 Services operates a state-of-the-art training center in Istanbul and provides working dog services for aviation, maritime, cargo, logistics, hotels and other sectors. Gözen Holding remains a private, family-influenced Turkish aviation group headquartered in Istanbul, continuing to serve airlines, airports and other clients in Turkey and internationally.
