Güde

Güde is a German supplier and manufacturer of machines and tools for craftsmen and DIY users. According to its company history, it was founded in 1979 and has been based in Wolpertshausen since 2000, employing around 150 people and serving customers in Europe.

Güde was founded in 1979, with its first location in Mangoldsall, a small place near Kupferzell, with a handful of employees and an office and storage area of about 1,500 m². In 1991 the company moved to Übrigshausen, where several halls with a total area of 10,000 m² were built by the shareholders. To establish itself in own-brand marketing, the subsidiary Just in Time Heimwerker-Maschinen-Vertriebsgesellschafts mbH was founded, which by the time of the account had many large customers; under Just in Time two brands, Vintec and Wolpertech, were developed, which have since integrated their own product lines. Since 2000 the company's location has been in Wolpertshausen, directly on the A6 between Heilbronn and Nuremberg. Güde employs around 150 people in various departments, from development through warehousing to shipping to customers in Europe. The storage area is about 36,000 m², spread over a total of 7 warehouse halls and the Technical Service. In the Technical Service, customer complaints are handled directly on site and products are repaired if necessary. Spare parts availability for individual products is guaranteed for several years and currently comprises 25,000 different spare parts that are permanently in stock. Since the move to Wolpertshausen, the company has expanded into external service and sales partners as well as subsidiaries.
