Its published milestones include: in 1960, focus on the area of drive technology with the manufacture of rack and pinion components; in 1970, development of the DPK-type copper printing press; in 1980, introduction of the Güdel modular system with high-precision linear guideways and drive-technology components enabling payloads from 10 kg to several tons to be moved quickly and precisely; in 1991, development of the ZP and FP gantry robots enabling workpieces weighing up to 3 tons to be moved efficiently and with a high degree of precision; in 1995, development of the TrackMotion (TM) drive axis; in 1998, the world's first roboLoop, a gantry and transfer system; in 2003, development of the roboBeam and roboFlex transfer robots for press automation; in 2006, launch of the roboFeeder; in 2013, further development of the TrackMotion Floor floor-mounted drive axis and the P-ECON pallet conveyor; in 2014, further development of the TrackMotion Overhead drive axis for overhead assembly, Green Tire Tray, roboSpeed, and the ZP 2-axis gantry in sizes 6 and 7, with the product range expanded to include the high-precision planetary gearhead; in 2015, development of the PA swivel loader; and in 2016, development of the partLifter lifting column and further development of the TrackMotionFloor to include sizes 5 and above.
