GATR Technologies

GATR Technologies appears within Cubic's expeditionary communications offering, where its Inflatable Satellite Antennas (ISAs) and foldable satellite terminals are presented as highly portable, secure satellite terminals for allied forces, aid agencies, and first responders. Cubic describes these terminals as delivering up to a 50% reduction in pack-out weight and volume compared to deployable, rigid antennas of similar size, and as suited to first-in deployments, remote applications, and contingency scenarios. The GATR Troposcatter system combines Cubic's GATR 2.4m Inflatable System Antenna with Comtech Systems troposcatter software-defined radio technology, providing a high-throughput tactical link capable of Line-Of-Sight and Beyond-Line-Of-Sight communications.

GATR Technologies appears in Cubic's expeditionary communications materials as the source of GATR-branded inflatable and foldable satellite terminals. Cubic states that its Inflatable Satellite Antennas (ISAs), Foldable Satellite Terminals, and Troposcatter solutions are engineered for data and voice communications for allied forces, aid agencies, and first responders, offering portability, fast setup times, and reduced operational costs. Cubic describes the GATR Troposcatter system as combining two technologies: Cubic's GATR 2.4m Inflatable System Antenna (ISA) and Comtech Systems troposcatter software-defined radio technology. The available evidence does not establish GATR Technologies' founding date, founders, headquarters, or ownership history.
