GEBOL

GEBOL is an Austrian manufacturer of work gloves and personal protective equipment. Founded in 1945 by Georg Bozzay in Linz as Georg Bozzay KG, the company later became GEBOL Handelsagentur and now operates as GEBOL GmbH with its wholly owned subsidiary G2Trade. Its customers include leading DIY stores in 20 European countries, as well as industrial and commercial customers; international discounters, the food retail sector and leading furniture stores are mainly supplied by G2Trade.

GEBOL was founded in 1945 by Georg Bozzay from Linz as Georg Bozzay KG, which later was renamed GEBOL Handelsagentur. The original one-man operation grew steadily. In 1995 Gerhard Frank, now CEO and owner of GEBOL, joined the company as assistant to the management under the then owner and managing director Dr. Helmut Soukup. He acquired the company a few years later and founded GEBOL GmbH as well as the 100% subsidiary G2Trade. In March 2021 the management was expanded to include Roman Wurm, MA and Mag. (FH) Leonhard Krankl, MSc. At the beginning of the second quarter of the 2023 financial year the management was restructured again. Markus Dulle became CEO and managing director Gerhard Frank withdrew from the operational business. Originally GEBOL's product range consisted of painter's supplies. Over time the offering increasingly shifted toward occupational safety. Since 2018 the focus has been on occupational safety. Customers now include leading DIY stores in 20 European countries, as well as industrial and commercial customers. International discounters, the food retail sector and leading furniture stores are mainly supplied by the subsidiary G2Trade.
