Gelato Messina is an Australian gelato brand whose story started in 2002, when founder Nick Palumbo moved from Adelaide to open a gelato store in Sydney. The brand makes every flavour using its own unique recipes, never using pre-made bases or mass-produced flavour pastes, and each store carries a 40-flavour cabinet with 35 traditional flavours and 5 rotating weekly specials. It also makes its own gelato cakes and produces its own chocolate from scratch using single origin Ecuadorian cacao, and uses Australian jersey milk.
