Gelderse Vlaggenhandel

Gelderse Vlaggenhandel is a Dutch online retailer that sells flags, flagpoles and related accessories. Its name translates roughly as 'Gelderland Flag Trade', and its product range is built around national, provincial and regional flags, together with the poles, wimpels and seasonal decorations that go with them. The company operates primarily through its web shop, where customers can browse categories such as country flags, province flags, wooden flagpoles, table flags, wimpels and Christmas lighting. The assortment shown on the company's website includes flags in multiple sizes, for example 100 x 150 cm, 150 x 225 cm and 200 x 300 cm, as well as wimpels of 250 cm, 300 cm and 350 cm. Regional identity is a visible theme: the site highlights Liemers flags and wimpels, referring to the Liemers region in the eastern Netherlands. Alongside these regional items, the shop lists national flags, provincial flags and 'multiple countries' flags, plus flagpoles and flag sticks. Seasonal products such as Fairybell Christmas lighting for 7-metre and 8-metre masts also appear in the catalogue. The company presents itself as a service-oriented specialist, with a homepage message that service and advice rank highly. It sells directly to consumers and other buyers through its online store rather than through a large chain of physical shops. The website is available in Dutch and uses a web-shop format with wish lists, quick-view product cards and category navigation. Because the business is small and privately held, detailed public information about its founding, ownership and management is limited. It is best understood as a niche Dutch e-commerce retailer in the flag and flagpole trade, serving customers who need national, provincial or regional flags and the equipment to fly them.

Gelderse Vlaggenhandel is a Dutch flag and flagpole retailer that operates mainly through its online shop. Public information about its corporate history is sparse; the available evidence consists of its own website and a Wikidata entry, without a detailed narrative of founding or ownership changes. The business is named after Gelderland, the largest province of the Netherlands, and its product range reflects a Dutch and regional focus. From its web shop, the company sells national flags, provincial flags and regional flags, including items for the Liemers region. It also offers flagpoles, flag sticks, table flags and wimpels, and has added seasonal products such as Fairybell Christmas lighting designed for flagpoles. The catalogue shows flags in several standard sizes and wimpels in lengths of 250 cm, 300 cm and 350 cm, indicating a trade oriented toward practical, ready-made flag products rather than custom manufacturing on a large scale. The company's homepage emphasises service and advice, suggesting a positioning built on personal assistance for customers choosing flags, poles and accessories. Because it is a small private business, it has not been the subject of extensive press coverage or published financial reporting. Its history is therefore best documented through its evolving online catalogue and its presence as a niche supplier in the Dutch flag market.
