Freelance-worker protection recommendation
The Japanese Fair Trade Commission announced on December 5, 2025, that Glovision had allegedly failed to disclose contract terms and had not paid compensation by the due dates for dubbing and subtitling work commissioned from 55 freelancers between November 2023 and January 2024. Glovision issued an apology and announced corrective measures.
