Overview
Groupe Dunoyer is a family-owned company based in Haute-Savoie, France, specializing in woodworking, construction, and architecture. Founded in 1955 by Louis Dunoyer, it has been passed down through generations and is known for its blend of artisanal know-how and modern technology.
History
Groupe Dunoyer was founded in 1955 when Louis Dunoyer created his carpentry and joinery company. In 1973, the company moved into new workshops in Poisy, which is now the group's headquarters. Louis's son Robert, the current president, and later his brother Daniel, joined their father to work in the Poisy workshops. The modernization of the work tool expressed the company's strong desire to diversify and conquer new markets. In 1980, large projects illustrated this change in scale, including collaboration with André Paccard, a decorator renowned for royal achievements in Morocco, the fitting out of complete chains of boutiques, and the restoration of numerous hotels and palaces. In 1985, a new step was taken with the creation of AXE&D houses.
