GS1 Austria GmbH

GS1 Austria GmbH is the official issuing body for GTINs/EAN barcodes in Austria. It supports companies in electronically providing article master data, traceability and electronic data exchange, and offers services such as GLN location identification, Verified by GS1 (GEPIR search), check-digit calculation, GS1 Sync, GS1 Trace and GS1 EDI. According to its own history page, it has set standards since 1977, and more than 13,000 customers use its globally unique identification numbers and barcodes.
