The company focuses on digital patient engagement and AI-powered precision care, serving health systems, hospitals, and health plans. Its flagship offering, Get Well 360, is described as a next-generation digital patient engagement solution designed to support patients across the entire care continuum — inpatient, outpatient, community, and home settings. Get Well was founded around 2000 by Michael O'Neil, who was inspired to improve patient connection to care after his own experience with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma treatment. The company has since grown into a major provider of interactive patient care and engagement solutions, reporting that it serves more than 10 million patients annually at over 1,000 hospitals and clinical partner sites. Its solutions combine advanced AI navigation with high-touch care experiences to improve patient activation, loyalty, and outcomes while reducing the cost of care. The company's platform integrates with health IT systems, with the company citing 3,500+ live health IT system integrations, 950+ client sites, and 230+ care plans. Get Well's solutions have been recognized industry-wide, including by KLAS Research and AVIA Marketplace in 2024. The company is led by Founder & CEO Deepthi Bathina, with Nathan Gnanasambandam serving as Chief AI Officer and other executives overseeing customer operations, managed services, revenue, and product development. GW RhythmX positions itself as a patient-centered digital health platform that puts patients in control of their healthcare both inside and outside the hospital. Its mission, as stated on its website, is to provide high-quality personalized patient care by engaging patients, educating families, and empowering clinicians.

History

Get Well was founded around 2000 by Michael O'Neil, who was motivated by his own experience as a patient. At age 28, O'Neil underwent aggressive surgery and chemotherapy to treat non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. While he felt his clinical treatment was excellent, he often felt that his care was being done to him rather than with him. During treatment, he spent a lot of time waiting and wondering, which fueled his desire to change the status quo so that others would not have to go through a similar experience. After his recovery, he founded Get Well with the mission to help people feel more connected to their care. Over more than two decades, Get Well grew into a provider of interactive patient care and digital patient engagement solutions. The company reports serving more than 10 million patients annually at over 1,000 hospitals and clinical partner sites, using longitudinal data analytics to better serve patients and clinicians. Its solutions span the care ecosystem — inpatient, outpatient, community, and home — along with AI and live navigators, driving enterprise results and ROI. In 2024, Get Well's solutions were recognized industry-wide by KLAS Research and AVIA Marketplace. The company later became part of SAIGroup, and under that ownership it combined with RhythmX AI to form GW RhythmX. The combined entity is led by Founder & CEO Deepthi Bathina and focuses on redefining digital patient-centered engagement by putting patients in control of their healthcare, inside as well as outside the hospital. The company combines advanced AI navigation with high-touch care experiences to improve patient activation, loyalty, and outcomes and reduce the cost of care.
