Hüppe

HÜPPE is a German enterprise and a pioneer of shower enclosures in Europe. Founded in 1889 by Justin Hüppe, the company committed itself to the shower area in 1966. It became part of MASCO Corporation in 1987 and in 2021 became part of the AURELIUS Gruppe. Its product range includes shower enclosures, walk-in showers, bath screens, shower trays and wall panelling.

HÜPPE looks back on over 120 years of company history. The company was founded in 1889 by Justin Hüppe. In 1966 it committed itself to the shower area and became a pioneer of shower enclosures in Europe, relying from the outset on quality, service and design ambition. In 1987 HÜPPE became part of MASCO Corporation (Michigan, USA), gaining an international footing. In the following years the Spanish shower enclosure manufacturer Reser s.l. and the Turkish company Intermart joined HÜPPE. In 1999 the tray plant in Bad Zwischenahn opened, where high-quality shower surfaces are made partly by hand. In 2000 the patented HÜPPE Kedersystem was developed. Cooperations with design studios such as NOA, Jette Joop and Phönix Design responded to rising customer demand for individualisation. New series with innovative door systems reached bathrooms in Europe, in the private sector as well as in hotels, spas and on cruise ships. With innovative premium solutions such as the Select+ series, Xtensa and SolvaPro, HÜPPE won design awards and market traction. In 2021 HÜPPE GmbH became part of the AURELIUS Gruppe.
