History

Haneron Corporation was founded in November 1973 in Yao, Osaka, as Kawakita Electric Works (川北電気製作所), starting with the development, manufacture, and sale of electronic control equipment. In September 1977, as the business expanded, the company changed its name to Haneron Electronics Industry Co., Ltd. (ハネロン電子工業株式会社) with capital of 3 million yen. Over the following years, it increased its capital several times: to 6 million yen in May 1982, to 12 million yen in December 1983, and to 33 million yen in May 1984. In May 1983, it received factory certification under the Electrical Appliance and Material Control Law. In July 1984, it was certified under Osaka Prefecture's advanced technology industry promotion program, and in December 1984, it relocated its headquarters to Wakabayashi-cho, Yao, Osaka, due to business expansion. In October 1986, the company began development and sales of protocol monitors. In April 1987, it joined the Japan System House Association (JASA). In July 1987, it obtained approval for medical device manufacturing. In February 1990, it received U/L certified factory approval. In October 1993, it started development and sales of self-weight syringes. In February 1997, it developed a low-power consumption processor using compression techniques, and in the same month, it received ISO 9001 certification from TUV Product Service in Germany. In September 1999, due to business expansion, the company changed its name to the current Haneron Corporation (株式会社ハネロン). In 1999, Haneron released its own IoT device using wireless technology, which attracted attention but initially generated little revenue, and the company considered withdrawing from the business. However, as demand increased with the times and terms like IoT and DX became widespread, the business gradually grew. Today, Haneron focuses on remote monitoring devices and data communication terminals, offering one-stop services from planning to mass production. Its Bluetooth CO2 sensor was a supporting item for Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai.
