History

Harbin Xinguang Optic-Electronics Technology Co. Ltd. was established in November 2007 with registered capital of RMB 100 million. In 2011 it passed high-tech enterprise certification; in 2012 it signed a simulation project under special environmental conditions; in 2014 it signed a simulation system platform project and took on overall work, initially gaining the capability to build simulation laboratories; in 2015 a laser countermeasure system was successfully developed, marking engineering application in the laser countermeasure field, and two model projects for which the company undertook supporting tasks passed appraisal and finalization; in 2016 the company formally settled in the Science and Technology Innovation City of Songbei District, Harbin, and a military simulation technology won the 2016 National Defense Science and Technology Progress First Prize; in 2017 it established an employee shareholding platform and implemented an equity incentive mechanism, and as a joint undertaking unit took on one national vertical research topic; in 2018 it completed registration as a joint-stock company on December 27, and completed assembly and adjustment of a large solar simulation system; on July 22, 2019 it became a STAR Market listed company in Northeast China. The company's actual controller, Mr. Kang Weimin, leads the technical team, building on optical aberration theory research proposed by his father, the renowned Chinese optics expert Professor Kang Songgao, to propose in China new optical imaging guidance technology based on the image-space scanning principle and other core technologies, achieving engineering application. The technical team also made major breakthroughs in key technologies such as multi-digital micromirror array combined beam technology, infrared dynamic scene generation technology within short integration time, thin-film beam synthesis technology and laser spatial beam combining technology, obtaining corresponding intellectual property and filling domestic gaps in multiple segmented product fields, and won the National Defense Science and Technology Progress First Prize in 2016. In recent years the company has actively researched multi-spectral intelligent monitoring systems for power systems and forest fire emergency management systems, with the power system multi-spectral intelligent monitoring system designated by State Grid as one of seven 2019 technical transformation projects; during the fight against COVID-19 it rapidly developed high-precision human body temperature intelligent monitoring equipment.
