History

Hattingley Valley was founded in 2008 by owner Simon Robinson, a retired lawyer turned farmer, who identified an exceptional 25-acre, chalky, south-facing site on his Hampshire land and planted the first Hattingley vineyard. A modern, eco-friendly winery was established in 2010, leading to Hattingley's first vintage release in 2013 and immediate acclaim, including a gold medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards. In 2022, Head Winemaker Robert MacCulloch MW joined the estate, bringing over 20 years of global experience.
