Overview

The Hermosa Inn is a boutique, luxury hideaway in Arizona’s Paradise Valley. It was once home to 1930s cowboy artist Lon Megargee. The hotel features 43 luxuriously appointed casitas with Southwestern decor, including pedestal tubs, handcrafted mesquite furniture, beehive fireplaces, skylights, private patios, and Lon Megargee artwork. Dining options include LON's, LON's Last Drop, LON's Poolside Dining, and In-Room Dining.

History

The Hermosa Inn began in the early 1930s when cowboy artist Lon Megargee built a modest adobe hacienda in what is now Paradise Valley, Arizona, originally called 'Casa Hermosa' or 'Beautiful House.' It served as his personal studio and retreat. By the 1940s, Casa Hermosa transitioned into a guest ranch. After Lon Megargee sold the property, it changed ownership several times throughout the 1950s and 1960s, and during this period it became officially known as The Hermosa Inn.
