Herr's launches sixth 'Flavored by Philly' potato chip flavor contest
Herr's, a Chester County-based snack foods manufacturer, opened submissions on Oct. 12, 2026 for the sixth annual 'Flavored by Philly' contest, inviting the public to nominate Philadelphia-area restaurants, dining establishments, and food companies whose best-known dishes could become potato chip flavors. The nomination period runs through Nov. 2; the top three nominations will be sold in stores next summer and compete in an eight-week public vote, with a $5,000 prize for the winning nominator and $10,000 for the business that inspired the chip.
