In October 2004 it listed its shares on the Nagoya Stock Exchange Centrex. In June 2018 株式会社洋菓子のヒロタ acquired 100% of the shares of 株式会社あわ家惣兵衛, making it a wholly owned subsidiary. In September 2020 it relocated its head office from 2-6-1 Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo to 1-5-12 Uchikanda, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. In October 2020 it acquired 100% of the shares of 株式会社トリアノン洋菓子店, making it a subsidiary. In April 2022, following the review of market divisions by the Nagoya Stock Exchange, it transitioned to the Next market. In October 2023 it changed its company name to ヒロタグループホールディングス株式会社.
