Overview

HITOWA Holdings is a Japanese corporate group that positions itself as a comprehensive lifestyle-support company, providing services that support families and daily life across the life stage. Its origins trace to the establishment of Hasegawa Kosan Co., Ltd. in February 1997. The group expanded into house cleaning through the "Osouji Honpo" agency business in 1998 and began franchising that brand in 2000. It later diversified into elderly care with the "Ilyse" visiting acupuncture and massage service in 2002 and the opening of a paid nursing home under the same name in 2003. Shoe and bag maintenance followed through the "Kutsu Senka" franchise in 2005, childcare through the "Taiyo no Ko" nursery in 2009, food service contracting in 2012, and the "KEiROW" visiting acupuncture franchise in 2013. The group reorganized its corporate identity in November 2017, changing its trade name to HITOWA Holdings Co., Ltd. It continued to launch new services, including the "Hapinowa" purchasing platform in 2020, the "Rakurakuun" marketplace in 2020, and the "MY PANTRY" meal-support service in 2021. In 2022 it opened a child development support office and rolled out the "Sumaimiiru" brand for food service contracting. In October 2024 it opened an Ilyse facility with an attached directly operated KEiROW store, and in October 2025 it changed its trade name to HITOWA Co., Ltd. HITOWA Group operates through companies and brands including HITOWA Kids Life, HITOWA Social Works, Kids Connect, and the general incorporated association Kids Life Lab. Its services span life support and repair/maintenance, nursing and healthcare, childcare support, and food service. The group emphasizes a human-touch approach combined with digital transformation, aiming to create group synergies and expand into new customer segments. Its slogan is "For people. By people's power. Together toward tomorrow." The company is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
