Hoken Clinic

Hoken Clinic is a store-based insurance consultation service operated by Iric Corporation. It offers free insurance planning and comparison, handling life and non-life insurance products from about 50 companies. The service uses a proprietary 'Insurance IQ System' to support over 380,000 people, and provides a 'Maruwakari Sheet' for easy comparison of coverage. Consultants undergo about three months of training and aim for five master qualifications related to money.

The company opened the first Hoken Clinic store in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo in 1999. In 2004, it started franchising nationwide, partnering with regional insurance agencies. The Insurance IQ System was developed to provide visual analysis and comparison of insurance products.
