In March 1976 it merged with Meiko Electric Co., Ltd. and operated under the name Hokuto Meiko Electronics Co., Ltd. In April 1981 it changed its name to Hokuto Electronics Industry Co., Ltd. In December 1990, following the first phase of construction begun in April of the first year of Heisei, the second phase was completed and a new company building was finished. In October 2005 it obtained ISO14001:2004 (EC005J0184), and in October 2008 it obtained ISO9001:2008 (QC08J0049). In February 2009 it received the Nishinomiya City Excellent Business Award. In September 2010 it relocated its head office from 2-16 to 2-36 Nashiohigashikubo, Nishinomiya, Hyogo. In May 2011 Manabu Nakano became Representative Director and President. In October 2017 it obtained ISO14001:2015 (EC005J0184) and ISO9001:2015 (QC08J0049). In July 2022 it registered as a Hyogo Industry SDGs Promotion Declaration Company. From March 2023 it obtained Health and Productivity Management Excellent Corporation certification.
