Its entrepreneurial roots go back to 1876. The group, led by Fritz Homann, specialises in the production and distribution of thin, highly refined wood fibreboards (MDF/HDF) with a thickness range of 1.5 mm to 22.0 mm for the furniture, door, coating and automotive industries in Western and Eastern Europe. International sales are coordinated centrally at the company headquarters in Herzberg am Harz, while production takes place at the German site in Losheim am See, at the two Polish sites in Krosno/Oder and Karlino, and at the plant in Pagiriai, Lithuania. Customers include many of the best-known globally active furniture manufacturers as well as numerous large and medium-sized companies from the door and coating industries at home and abroad; the automotive industry is also among its customers. The company employs approximately 1,650 people.
