Overview

Hop Hey is a Ukrainian retail chain specializing in draft beer, alcohol, and picnic goods, operating more than 300 stores across 27 cities. Founded on 1 June 2009 in Dnipro under the name More Pyva (Море Пива), the network has grown into the largest beershop chain in Ukraine, with a 16-year history that is the longest among Ukrainian beer shops. The company operates in Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Mykolaiv, and Cherkasy oblasts, serving both large cities and smaller settlements. Beyond retail, Hop Hey vertically integrates production: it owns two breweries, First Dnipro Brewery (FDB) and Fanatic, as well as a cider house and a meat snack production facility. This allows the company to control quality from creation to customer delivery. The network offers the widest selection of beer and snacks among Ukrainian beer shops, with meat snacks made in-house and seafood imported directly. All snacks come in individual packaging designed for self-service. The online store carries over 500 products available for order in all cities where the network operates and in most neighboring cities. The draft beverage assortment is regularly updated. During 2025, more than 40 new beer varieties from its own breweries Fanatic and FDB and over 12 author cider cocktails under the Krash brand from its own cider house will hit shelves, along with 24 craft and premium beverages available only online and in the new Hop Hey MAX format stores. In stores, a modern team of salespeople is always ready to help with selection and provide professional consultation on any item. The company guarantees quality and takes responsibility for it.

History

Hop Hey began on 1 June 2009 when the first store opened in Dnipro under the brand More Pyva (Море Пива). Over the following 16 years, the network expanded to become the largest chain of draft beer shops in Ukraine, growing to more than 300 stores in 27 cities. The company operates in eight oblasts: Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Mykolaiv, and Cherkasy. To control quality and supply, Hop Hey established its own production facilities: two breweries, First Dnipro Brewery (FDB) and Fanatic, a cider house, and a meat snack production. In 2025, the network plans to introduce over 40 new beer varieties from Fanatic and FDB, more than 12 author cider cocktails under the Krash brand, and 24 craft and premium beverages available only online and in the new Hop Hey MAX store format.
