The channel is the official broadcaster of FEI and FISE events and competitions, airing highlights of major national and international equestrian competitions. The channel has undergone several changes in broadcasting platforms. Initially broadcast in high definition on satellite and on digital terrestrial television via the TivuItalia multiplex until January 4, 2011. On December 25, 2013, it returned on digital terrestrial television channel 148 via local multiplexes. In January 2016, it left the Tivùsat numbering, returning on May 26, 2016. On March 14, 2019, Class Horse TV left Tivùsat and digital terrestrial, becoming a pay channel on Sky, broadcasting only in high definition and using its current name. On December 23, 2020, Horse TV HD left the Sky pay satellite platform, temporarily suspending broadcasts, but returned the same day on LCN 221, also available free-to-air on satellite, and changed its logo. On April 22, 2021, Horse TV HD returned to the Tivùsat platform on LCN 444. Its programming includes live broadcasts of major equestrian events such as the FEI Nations Cup, Longines FEI Jumping World Cup, Reem Acra FEI Dressage World Cup, Fieracavalli horse show in Verona, CSI 5* San Patrignano, CSIO Piazza di Siena, CHIO Aachen, and the IJRC Top Ten Final. The channel's owner is unknown, and available information does not specify its headquarters location.
