Hue Newspaper, Radio and Television

Hue Newspaper, Radio and Television (commonly branded HueTV) is the state-run media organisation serving Hue, Vietnam. It operates under the Hue City People's Committee and combines print, radio and television operations in a single municipal broadcaster. Its television arm is known as Hue TV, and its online portal at huetv.com.vn carries news, current-affairs programming, arts and special-topic shows, documentary and reportage strands, and schedules for both television and radio. The organisation's output is organised around a news and current-affairs core, with recurring strands such as Thời sự (news), Hue 24h, Phóng sự – Phim tài liệu (reportage and documentary), Văn nghệ – Chuyên đề (arts and special topics), Chính sách – Pháp luật (policy and law), Chuyển đổi số (digital transformation) and Bản sắc Huế (Hue identity). It also publishes broadcast schedules for television and radio, advertising rate cards, financial disclosure information and recruitment notices, reflecting its dual role as a public-service broadcaster and a municipal government information channel. As a provincial/municipal broadcaster, its primary broadcast area is Hue, and its programming is oriented toward local audiences in central Vietnam. The website also offers an online streaming section (HueTV Online) where programmes such as news bulletins, music shows and documentaries are made available. Because it is attached to the Hue City People's Committee, it functions as an official mouthpiece for local government information alongside its general news and cultural programming. Hue Newspaper, Radio and Television is not a commercial listed company; it is a state-owned public media entity. Its brand is closely tied to the Hue locality and to the city's cultural identity, which is reflected in programming strands devoted to Hue's heritage and character.
