Overview

Human Holdings Co., Ltd. (ヒューマンホールディングス株式会社) is a Japanese holding company headquartered in Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo. It is the parent of the Human Group, a diversified services group whose core is education, complemented by human-resources/staffing, nursing care, childcare, beauty, sports, IT and global businesses. The group traces its origins to April 1985, when a company named Kyōiku Miraisha was established in Osaka to run education businesses; it was renamed The Human Co., Ltd. in March 1986 and later became Human Academy Co., Ltd. A staffing arm, Human Touch Co., Ltd. (now Human Resocia Co., Ltd.), was founded in February 1988. In August 2002 the two operating companies established Human Holdings through a joint share transfer, and in October 2004 the holding company listed on the JASDAQ market (securities code 2415). Following the 2010 reorganization, Human Resocia spun off education into a new Human Academy, nursing care into Human Life Care, and internet-related operations into Human Incubation (later Human International). The group has since expanded internationally, with entities in China, Thailand, France, Indonesia, Canada, Vietnam, the United States and the Philippines, and has consolidated several subsidiaries. As of the fiscal year ended March 2026, the group reported consolidated revenue of ¥102,539 million, 4,740 consolidated employees (excluding temporary staff), eight consolidated subsidiaries, six non-consolidated subsidiaries and two affiliates. The group also operates two professional sports teams: the basketball club Osaka Evessa and the esports team Human Academy CREST GAMING. Its corporate message centers on the concept of "SELFing" — discovering and developing oneself and thereby contributing to society.
