IDK Corporation

IDK Corporation (株式会社アイ・ディ・ケイ) is a Japanese manufacturer of professional AV equipment. According to its official website, the company develops, manufactures, and sells a wide range of video peripheral devices for professional AV systems, including AV over IP equipment, multi switchers, matrix switchers, video signal extenders, distributors, switchers, and controllers. The company was founded in 1989 in Kamitsuruma, Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture, and celebrated its 30th anniversary in October 2018. It has overseas offices IDK America Inc. (USA) and IDK Euro GmbH (Germany), and its products are used in applications such as education, corporate offices, medical facilities, surveillance, and digital signage.

IDK Corporation was founded in 1989 in Kamitsuruma, Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture. In 1989, it began selling RGB video distributors and video cables. In 1994, it established the Chiba Technical Center. In the 2000s, it opened the Kansai Sales Office (2000) and Kyushu Sales Office (2001), and began selling the MMS and MSC series multi switchers in 2003. In 2004, it moved its headquarters to Chuo, Yamato City, and obtained ISO14001 certification. In 2007, it began selling the latest high-definition (HDMI) related equipment, and in 2009, digital video signal extenders, distributors, and switchers. In the 2010s, it began selling digital (DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, 3G-SDI) optical fiber extension cables, extension modules, and converters (2011), IP video server MewGazer (2012), and optical video extenders OPF series (2013). In 2014, it began full-scale export of IDK products. In 2015, it established IDK America (Brookfield, Connecticut, USA) and announced the 4K@60 AV over IP equipment IP-NINJAR®. In 2016, it established IDK Euro (Ratingen, Düsseldorf, Germany), moved its manufacturing and logistics center to Kashiwadai, obtained CE marking certification, and began selling 4K-compatible digital multi switchers. In 2018, it established IDK Vietnam Office (Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam) and celebrated its 30th anniversary in October. In 2025, it announced the unified communication system solution brand "USBNeo".
