IGOL is a French manufacturer of engine oils and lubricants for the automotive, motorbike, manufacturing, construction and agricultural machinery sectors. Its head office is based in Amiens (Hauts-de-France) and it has three other production sites in Le Bignon (44), Nevers (58) and Gardanne (13). The IGOL France network was created in 1949 by a dozen heads of independent producers and distributors of lubricants across France. IGOL France is the brand owner, sets technical and commercial policy and operates as a central purchasing group; it is the joint subsidiary of the various regional companies which use the IGOL brand under a franchise agreement. IGOL states it is present in more than 30 countries worldwide and sells more than 30,000,000 liters per year.
