incognito® is an insect-repellent brand whose official site describes a mission of "Protecting people naturally. Backed by experience. Trusted worldwide." It was founded after two life-changing travel experiences, and its founders are Howard Carter and Patricia Conlon. The brand sells a range of insect-protection products, including repellent sprays, lotions, roll-ons, hair and body washes, incense sticks, bracelets, necklaces, sun protection, and bite-relief items, organised around a "Simple Step System".

incognito® was founded after two life-changing travel experiences showed there had to be a better way to protect people from biting insects. Howard Carter contracted both malaria and dengue fever while travelling in Thailand and India, despite using conventional insect repellents and anti-malarial medication. At the same time, Patricia Conlon was travelling through the Amazon and did not want to use chemical repellents in one of the world's most fragile environments; the natural alternatives she tried did not work. Together they decided there had to be a better solution, and that journey led to the creation of incognito®. More than 20 years later, the brand states its mission remains to create effective, plant-based protection that is kinder to people and the planet.
