Innsbruck Marketing works on event marketing, communication, networking and brand management of the Innsbruck city brand. Together with its shareholders and partner companies, it aims to maintain and strengthen Innsbruck's attractiveness, keeping residents, visitors and businesses in view. Its team is led by Mag.a Heike Kiesling as management. The Innsbruck brand's visual identity was further developed jointly by Innsbruck Marketing, the City of Innsbruck and Innsbruck Tourismus, with the logo retained and a modern, digital and accessible corporate design introduced.

Innsbruck Marketing describes its work as contributing to a larger future vision for the city of Innsbruck: "Innsbruck stands for a 360° alpine-urban experience and a sporty-relaxed atmosphere. It shows itself as a cosmopolitan and connected city, as an ecological pioneer and knowledge hub." Its main areas of work include event marketing, communication, networking and brand management of the Innsbruck city brand. Together with its shareholders and partner companies, it seeks to maintain and strengthen Innsbruck's attractiveness and appeal, with residents, visitors and companies in view. The visual appearance of the Innsbruck brand was further developed jointly by Innsbruck Marketing, the City of Innsbruck and Innsbruck Tourismus; described as not a redesign but a "freshening up," the logo remained unchanged while a modern corporate design was introduced with fresher colors, more readable typography and an authentic visual language in photo and film, designed as a modular system for a shared appearance across all partners.
