Inspecs Group PLC describes itself as an eyewear solutions leader producing high quality eyewear designed in the UK for a global network of retailers and brands. The group operates a vertically-integrated frame, lens and visual-aid platform spanning design, manufacture, marketing and distribution, with products sold in over 70,000 optical and retail outlets across 80 countries. It operates from 14 sales offices with a 270-strong sales team and has manufacturing bases in Vietnam, China, Italy and the UK. The group produces eyewear under license for a global portfolio of fashion, sports and lifestyle brands as well as patented concept eyewear, and also delivers private label eyewear for retailers.

Inspecs was founded in 1988 by Robin Totterman, who has been a Board member since founding INSPECS in 1988. Totterman is described as an entrepreneur and forerunner in the branded eyewear industry with over 30 years' experience in eyewear licensing, design, manufacture and wholesale, and brought the first branded eyewear to the UK optical market (Jean-Paul Gaultier). In 2017 he completed the acquisition of Killine, creating a vertically integrated group.
