Institut Transportasi dan Logistik Trisakti

Institut Transportasi dan Logistik Trisakti (ITL Trisakti), historically known as Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Transportasi Trisakti (STMT Trisakti), is an Indonesian higher-education institution focused on transport and logistics management. It operates under the Trisakti educational foundation and is based in Jakarta. The institution offers diploma (DIII), undergraduate (S1), and postgraduate (S2) programs in transport and logistics management, positioning itself as a specialist provider for Indonesia's transport, shipping, aviation, and supply-chain sectors. Its curriculum and identity are closely tied to the country's need for professional managers in a large archipelagic economy where logistics and multimodal transport are strategically important. As a private higher-education brand, it competes with other Indonesian transport and logistics schools and with general management faculties, differentiating through its sector-specific focus and its Trisakti affiliation. The official website presents the institution as a provider of DIII, S1, and S2 education in transport and logistics management.

Institut Transportasi dan Logistik Trisakti traces its institutional identity to Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Transportasi Trisakti (STMT Trisakti), a Jakarta-based school of transport management operating within the Trisakti educational ecosystem. The institution was established to address Indonesia's demand for managers and specialists in transport, shipping, aviation, and logistics — sectors of strategic importance to an archipelagic economy. Over time it broadened its academic offering from diploma and undergraduate teaching to include postgraduate programs, and it adopted the name Institut Transportasi dan Logistik Trisakti to reflect a wider transport-and-logistics mandate. Its official website continues to present the STMT Trisakti identity and describes the institution as delivering DIII, S1, and S2 education in transport and logistics management. The school remains a private higher-education provider under the Trisakti foundation, serving students seeking sector-specific qualifications for careers in Indonesia's transport and supply-chain industries.
