Inteam Records

Inteam Records is a Malaysian record label and album production company founded in 2004 by the nasyid group Inteam. The label was established as In-Team Edutainment while the group was in the final months of its contract with Hijjaz Records, which ended on 31 December 2004. The company is headquartered in Bandar Sri Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, and has grown into a group that includes Inteam Marketing, Inteam Publishing and Inteam Digital. Beyond producing and distributing albums by local nasyid artists, Inteam Records is the authorised distributor in Malaysia for artists under the international nasyid label Awakening Records, including Maher Zain, Sami Yusuf, Mesut Kurtis, Irfan Makki and Humood Al-Khuder. The label's roster has included Mateen Yaaqub, Ustazah Sofizah Mousin, Zakiuddin Hanafi, Ustaz Khairul Anuar Basri and Hijjaz. Inteam Records operates as a private company and remains active in the Malaysian Islamic music scene, with its subsidiaries covering marketing, publishing and digital distribution.

Inteam Records Sdn. Bhd. was founded in 2004 under the name In-Team Edutainment by the nasyid group Inteam, then still known as In-Team and made up of members Syah, Hazamin, Abdul Rahim and Suhaimi. The company was created to manage Inteam's own performances as their contract with Hijjaz Records was due to expire on 31 December 2004. Suhaimi later left the group to return to Hijjaz Records, but the remaining members continued, drawing inspiration from their mentor group Hijjaz to build their own empire and dreams. In its early days, the company used one of the rooms in Hazamin's rented house as its office, since Hazamin was already married at the time. After several years there, they moved to several locations, including Batu Caves, Selangor, and eventually to Bandar Sri Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, as a result of their hard work over 20 years of running the company. Inteam Records has since expanded with Inteam Marketing, Inteam Publishing and Inteam Digital. The label produces and distributes albums by local nasyid artists and is also the authorised distributor for artists under the international nasyid label Awakening Records, including Maher Zain, Sami Yusuf, Mesut Kurtis, Irfan Makki and Humood Al-Khuder. Its recording artists have included Mateen Yaaqub, Ustazah Sofizah Mousin, Zakiuddin Hanafi, Ustaz Khairul Anuar Basri and Hijjaz.
