ISRINGHAUSEN is one of the leading manufacturers of seat systems and technical springs for the automotive and commercial vehicle industry. Its products are used worldwide in trucks, transporters, buses and off-road vehicles. The ISRINGHAUSEN Group operates in 22 countries with over 7,300 employees in Europe and overseas, and is a member of the globally active AUNDE Group, which is among the 100 largest automotive suppliers. The AUNDE Group offers the entire production chain from yarn to complete vehicle interiors through its brands AUNDE, ISRINGHAUSEN, FEHRER and REINERT at over 100 locations.

ISRINGHAUSEN was founded in 1919 in Bielefeld, where it produced bicycle saddles and technical springs. In 1957 the company moved its headquarters from Bielefeld to Lemgo. In 1970 it developed modular seat systems with the ISRI modular system, enabling new variety and flexible adaptation to market requirements. In 1979 ISRI delivered one of the first fully automatic, air-suspended seats for commercial vehicles. In 1987 it delivered the world's first commercial vehicle seat with an integrated 3-point seat belt. In 1991 the AUNDE Group, a provider of innovative surface materials, took over the ISRINGHAUSEN Group. In 1993 ISRI delivered the world's first electrically adjustable commercial vehicle seat. In 1994 it expanded into seats for transporters and light commercial vehicles. In 2001 the NTS (New Truck Seat) seat generation was launched, becoming one of ISRI's most successful product lines. In 2005 the integrated 3-point belt was further developed with mechanical height adjustment. In 2009 the NTS seat generation celebrated its anniversary with the 4 millionth NTS seat produced. The company operates as a family business in the fourth generation.
