The Associazione Culturale Italian Opera Live was founded in 2014 from the desire and passion to transmit Italy's regional and national musical and artistic heritage. The proven experience of the founding members in artistic, theatrical, public relations, and administrative fields made possible culturally interesting and innovative projects and initiatives. The association has also carried out growing collaboration with other ODV organizations located in other parts of Italy and abroad, and has hosted guests from various parts of the world such as Cyprus, Spain, France, Germany, Israel, and Switzerland. It has undertaken close collaborations with Sicilian artists to valorize artists from Sicily. The association's primary objective is to spread and valorize Italian musical heritage starting from childhood. From 2014 to July 2021, Italian Opera Live organized 636 events with 85,000 spectators. The association created and registered a format called 'Italian Opera' with SIAE, which was realized through the musical kermesse 'Italian Opera Taormina'. In addition to the Italian Opera Taormina shows and the Taormina International Music Festival, Italian Opera Live organizes events each year such as the Christmas Concert, New Year's Concert, and Lyric Galas in Italy and abroad.
