PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (PT JIEP) is an Indonesian state-owned enterprise that manages and develops the Pulogadung Industrial Estate, a 433-hectare industrial zone in East Jakarta. It is recognized as the pioneer industrial estate management company in Indonesia, having been established on 26 June 1973. The company is jointly owned: 50% by PT Danareksa (Persero), representing the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia, and 50% by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, making it both a state-owned enterprise (BUMN) and a regional-owned enterprise (BUMD). JIEP's business units comprise industrial land plots, warehousing and ready-to-use factory buildings, as well as retail and service management. The estate was originally designated in 1969 by a decree of the Governor of Jakarta, which set aside 500 hectares in Pulogadung as an industrial area named "Kawasan Industri Pulogadung." Initially managed by the Industrial Estate Pulogadung Project under the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, the entity was transformed into a company in 1973 through Government Regulation No. 28 of 1973 and a related gubernatorial letter, replacing the project. On 24 January 2022, the Indonesian government officially transferred 50% of the company's shares to Danareksa as part of efforts to form a cross-sector state-owned holding company. The company continues to operate the Pulogadung Industrial Estate, serving industrial tenants and supporting Jakarta's manufacturing and logistics sectors.

The history of PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (PT JIEP) begins in 1969, when a decree of the Governor of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta (KDKI Jakarta) No. Ib.3/2/35/1969 designated 500 hectares of land in Pulogadung as an industrial area named "Kawasan Industri Pulogadung." This was the first industrial estate in Indonesia, initially managed by the Industrial Estate Pulogadung Project under the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. As investment flows into DKI Jakarta increased, on 26 June 1973, based on Government Regulation No. 28 of 1973 and a letter from the Governor of KDKI Jakarta No. D.V-a.3/2/36/73, the company was established to replace the Industrial Estate Pulogadung Project. The new entity, PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung, took over the management and development of the estate, which by then covered 433 hectares. For decades, JIEP operated as a joint venture between the central government and the Jakarta provincial government. On 24 January 2022, the Indonesian government officially transferred 50% of the company's shares to PT Danareksa (Persero), as part of an effort to form a cross-sector state-owned holding company. This made Danareksa the central government's representative shareholder, while the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government retained 50%.
