Jaleca is a Brazilian e-commerce specialized exclusively in medical coats and professional uniforms, founded in 2018 in Ipatinga/MG by Ana Luiza Alves Gomes, a pharmacist and dentist. It sells coats, scrubs, surgical sets and dolmans in sizes PP to G3 for health, dentistry, pharmacy, veterinary, aesthetics and gastronomy professionals, with delivery throughout Brazil. The main line fabric is twill 210 g/m² with 97% polyester and 3% elastane. It has 5 physical stores (ES, MG and PR) and serves corporate purchases with NF-e for CNPJ.

Jaleca was born in May 2018 in Ipatinga, Minas Gerais, founded by Ana Luiza Alves Gomes — a pharmacist and dentistry student who identified a real gap in the market during her undergraduate studies: health professionals had difficulty finding lab coats that were functional, elegant and durable. Ana Luiza began visiting industry fairs and developing models with stylists, turning a personal insight into a business. The first physical store was opened in December 2018 in the Horto neighborhood, in Ipatinga. What started with about 300 pieces per month grew rapidly: today Jaleca produces more than 5,000 units monthly, has 30 direct employees and operates 5 physical stores — Colatina (ES), Contagem (MG), Guarapuava (PR), Ipatinga (MG), Teófilo Otoni (MG) — in addition to serving the entire country through e-commerce. In 2022, Ana Luiza was awarded 1st place in the Small Business category of the Sebrae Mulher de Negócios Award (MG).

One of the brands that sells the most lab coats in Brazil, with more than 200 thousand pieces sold and a 4.9 rating on Google.
