History
Jaslar TV was founded by journalist Baxıtbek Elmanov, who had previously established the radio station Nókis FM. Elmanov had long planned to open a youth-oriented television channel alongside the radio. He realized this plan in 2018. On 21 January 2018, the first non-state television channel in Karakalpakstan was established. The channel was named Jaslar TV. Initially, it broadcast in test mode for three months. It was then officially confirmed, and on 8 March, small segments prepared by presenters began airing. The first shows were "Men juwap beremen" and "Tet-a-tet." Later, more complex productions with reporters, such as "Jaslar live," and shows about estrada singers, such as "Juldızlar haqqında," were broadcast. Radio presenters who were popular with listeners began working as television presenters. Elmira Ataniyazova continued her creative work through the show "Juldızlar haqqında," and later Farid Orınbaev through the show "Juldızlı xit-parad." To date, the channel has achieved many successes. With Elmanov's initiative, it participated in several competitions and won grand prix and other awards. Currently, the channel director is Minayxan Palwanova. The deputy director is Baxtiyar Qalbaev, chief editor is Ilxam Atamuratov, chief director is Jasurbek Ismayilov, and editors are Muslima Mámbetniyazova and Elmira Ataniyazova. Today, the channel airs many shows and programmes. Another achievement is that most shows are broadcast live. The channel has been providing quality service to the people for hours.
